UofO Workshop – People’s Knowledge and Social Change: Participatory approaches to Research, Action and Learning

In this Seminar, Colin Anderson from the Centre for Agroecology, Water and Resilience at Coventry University discussed how People’s Knowledge is mobilised in social and political processes of social change. He shared examples of how different knowledge processes and systems are employed in and beyond formal institutions (e.g. universities) in the pursuit of a more just and sustainable food system. He discussed the rationale for and principles of participatory, activist and action research using case studies from the food justice and food sovereignty movements in different parts of the world.
